Attention fellow BCTGM Union Members:
In most of our contracts with employers, we have language that prohibits an organized work stoppage mid-contract term. We have been advised to make sure you all understand that participating in the boycotting of going to work tomorrow in support if the ICE Out of MN event comes with a risk of discipline that we may not be able to reverse legally, so evaluate the risk before making the decision to not come to work tomorrow in support of the event.
We are in no way in support of illegal actions taken by ICE in our communities, we advise that you all proceed with caution if you find yourself in their presence at work, school, or at your homes.
