John Zormeier Loses his Battle with Cancer
On Saturday October 8, 2011 John Zormeier passed away from complications of his treatment for pancreatic cancer. John had recently celebrated his 45th birthday.
I spoke to John’s brother Jeff to talk to him about John’s life.
Jeff went on to say:
“John loved the outdoors; camping, canoeing, hunting, and fishing! He was a lifetime member of the Minnesota Trapper’s Association, and had a passion for fishing owning a large collection of fishing lures.
John started working for Kowalski’s Supermarket in White Bear Lake. He transferred to the bakery department where he learned the skills of his trade. In 1996 he went to work for Cub Foods, Jeff went on to say how much he enjoyed working there.
John will be remembered by all who knew him as laid back, easy-going with a friendly expression and an infectious smile. He will be missed.
The Officers of Local 22 would like to extend to John’s family and co-workers our heartfelt sympathy for their loss.
